Shediac/Cap-Pele Predators finish 2nd in the league championship final…

In a well anticipated final, the Shediac/Cap-Pele Predators were set to take on the Lewisville Lightning. This was not the first time these 2 teams met. Both teams knew each other’s strategies and game plan.

The Predators came out strong by scoring a goal in the first 7 seconds of the game. Keeping the pressure on the Lightning, the Preds went in to the 2nd period with a 2-0 lead. The Predators knew they could not sit back on their lead. They kept the offensive pressure going, but the Lightning managed to tie up the game at 2 goals apiece.  

Each team manage to score another goal to bring the game to a 3 all tie. However, the Lightning scored a 4^th goal to take the lead for the first time in the game and did not look back. The final score was 5-3 in favor of the Lewisville Lightning.

The Shediac/ Cap-Pele Predators could still keep their head up high as they gave a great performance, not only in the league final, but throughout the year. In the post-game interview, coach, Philippe LeBlanc, mentioned that he was extremly proud of each and every single player. 

The Predators have 2 tournaments remaining and will have to get back on track and focus their attention on finishing on a high.
